Note that this is only for male DB-19s (i.e. for peripherals). Alas, you'll still have to hoard your battery-bombed vintage motherboards for female DB-19s. (Or hopefully use a physically different but electrically compatible connector...)
BMOF dropped over $10K into those connectors and even then I wondered why does he think he can recoup that. There isnt enough retro enthusiasts to sell enough Floppy Emu. Its been almost 10 years and sounds like he is still sitting at over 9K spares.

May be after some success he can decide to sell female db 19 ports
Huh. This reminds me that I have a box of IDC Centronics printer connectors somewhere. Should see what the going rate is on eBay.

>> These DB-19 connectors (19-pin D-SUB) were newly manufactured in 2024 for my vintage computer hardware company
There were a couple of re-runs.
He's probably got less than 9,000 left according to the article though :
> I was able to arrange a “group buy”[...]
> Next step: re-ship the majority of these DB-19 connectors to the other people in the group buy.
I bought two for my NeXT a bit ago.. crazy how expensive the real DB-19 cables are
